Has anyone had a terrible experience with gas and pain from taking Kristalose? Is it worth it?
I've been prescribed Kristalose 10gm Oral Sol Packets for constipation related to my liver condition. I've heard mixed reviews. I haven't had any of the urgent side effects yet, but I have a bit of gas and cramps and I'm not sure if it's worth it. To those who have experience, how long did the constipation relief last before you needed to take it again? Is it better to stick to more natural remedies and avoid side effects?

I've been on it for a few weeks now and I honestly don't mind the side effects. It's way better than being constipated all the time. I can't live my life normally with constipation. Give it a few weeks and see what happens. Best of luck!
I was fine until I had the stomach cramps. I would give it a try, but not a high dose. Maybe start with half a packet and see how it goes?
I've had the worst experience with Kristalose. The gas and cramps were unbearable. I had to stop taking it. Just sharing my experience. Hope it helps
I tried Kristalose and got bad gas and cramps. I switched to MiraLAX and it works better for me. You might want to try a different remedy if it's not working out.
I've been using a 10gm Oral Sol Packet. Give it a try.
Why would you want to live like that? If you have liver problems or constipation, you have to take it. I think you need a glass half full mentality. Kristalose doesn't make you feel good but that's what it's for. Find something that makes you feel good too
