I'm scheduled for an MRI soon and my doctor mentioned they'll be using Multihance Solution, 10ml during the scan. I've read about the potential side effects, especially the urgent ones, and I'm feeling a bit nervous. Has anyone here had experience with this contrast agent? I'd love to hear about your experience, good or bad. Did you encounter any side effects? How did the medical staff handle the injection and the scan? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I work in radiology, and we use Multihance all the time. Just make sure to stay hydrated before and after the scan to help your kidneys flush out the contrast.

I've had multiple MRIs with contrast and never had any issues. I think the benefits outweigh the risks, especially if your doctor recommends it.

I had a weird feeling of warmth at the injection site during the MRI. The nurse said it was normal and it went away quickly.

I had an MRI with Multihance a few years ago. The injection site was a bit warm for a while, but that was it. No major side effects for me.

I've had two MRIs with Multihance and both times I experienced a headache afterwards. It was manageable with some Advil, but it was unexpected.

I had no issues with Multihance, but the MRI itself was a nightmare. I'm claustrophobic, and the machine was overwhelming.

Multihance is generally safe, but it's important to be aware of the rare but serious side effects. Always inform your doctor if you have any allergies or kidney issues before the procedure.
