I've been using Hydrocortisone 1% cream for a week now to treat some eczema flare-ups, and it seems to be helping with the itching and redness. However, I've noticed some burning and stinging at the application site, which the notes say is a possible side effect. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced these symptoms and if they go away over time. Also curious about any rare but serious side effects others have encountered. Any advice or similar experiences welcome!

I used it for a rash and it worked well, but the burning sensation was annoying. It did go away after a few days though.

I've had some mild side effects too, but nothing major. Just a little dryness, nothing major. I also found it super effective for my insect bites. I was bitten by a mosquito, and it was itching like crazy, but a bit of this cream and it was gone in a day. Amazing stuff!

I've never had any issues with it, but I heard it can cause some serious problems if you use it too much. Be careful and make sure to stick to the recommended amount and not overuse it.

I've had awful side effects from Hydrocortisone. I got a rash and my skin became super thin and irritated. I had to stop using it.
