I've been using Betadine 10% Solution for cleaning minor cuts and scrapes, but I recently had a reaction that made me wonder if it's worth the risk. The solution is great for killing germs, but I had some itching and redness at the site of application. I'm not sure if this is normal or if I should be worried. Has anyone else experienced similar side effects? How did you handle it? I want to be careful and make sure I'm not putting myself at risk for a more serious reaction.

Betadine is great for preventing infections, but it can definitely cause irritation. If you're having problems, try switching to a different antiseptic or see a doctor.

Betadine is a strong antiseptic but it can cause irritation for some people. If you're experiencing itching and redness, it might be worth trying a different product. I usually use a saline solution for minor cuts and scrapes; it's gentler and works just as well.

I had a really bad reaction to Betadine once. My skin started to blister and I had trouble breathing. I had to go to the emergency room. It was scary, but I'm glad I went because it turned out to be an allergic reaction. Now I stick to hydrogen peroxide.

I've never had any issues with Betadine, but I always make sure to dilute it with water before applying it to my skin. It seems to reduce the risk of irritation.
