I've been on Ortho-Novum 7-7-7 for a few months now, and I've experienced some mild side effects like headaches and spotting. I'm curious if anyone else has had similar experiences or if anyone has dealt with more serious side effects like mood changes or blood clots. I want to make sure I'm not alone in this and maybe get some insights on how to manage these side effects better.

I feel like the side effects are so individual. Like, I had no issues, but my sister had horrible migraines. It's wild how different each person reacts to meds.

I had Ortho-Novum 7-7-7 for a year and had no issues. Like everyone else, I had some mild side effects, but nothing too serious. It’s worth sticking with it to see if your body adjusts. Also, you could try taking it with food if you're experiencing an upset stomach.

I am a doctor and I've seen many patients on Ortho-Novum. The side effects can indeed be serious, so it's crucial to listen to your body and consult with your healthcare provider at the first sign of trouble. Don't ignore persistent symptoms thinking they're normal and will pass at some point. It's also important to report side effects to the FDA. The more data we have, the better we can help future patients.

I switched from Ortho-Novum to Yasmin because I was getting really intense migraines and my mood swings were crazy. Definitely talk to your doctor about trying a different brand if you have any of these issues. Migraines are no joke, and they can be a sign of blood clots for women on hormonal birth control.

I was on Ortho-Novum for about a year and had some really bad side effects. I started getting severe headaches and my blood pressure spiked a couple of times. I had to switch to a different birth control pill because it was just too much to handle. Be sure to keep an eye on your blood pressure; it's not always obvious when your blood pressure is too high.
