Has anyone had any side effects from taking Ferrex Tablets 28s? Are there any tips for dealing with them?
I've been taking Ferrex Tablets 28s for a couple of weeks now to treat my iron deficiency anemia. I've heard that it can have some pretty nasty side effects, like constipation and upset stomach? Has anyone else experienced these? I'm also wondering if there are any tips or tricks out there for dealing with them. Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

I had a rash and itching on my skin that I thought was related to the Ferrex, but it turned out to be something else. Still, it was a scary experience.
Not sure if my doctor mentioned this but you might want to be careful with who you share meds. Many people might not consider it a serious drug but can cause serious side effects.
Does anyone know if Ferrex is safe to take while pregnant? I'm anemic and my doctor recommended it, but I want to be sure.
Just a heads up, make sure to take this with food to avoid stomach upset. It actually helped me a lot.
I didn't have any issues with side effects, but I know everyone is different. Also be aware that if you notice your stool changing colour to green, don't panic, it's normal.
I had black, tarry stools and went to the ERP immediately. They said it's good thing I went in. The doctor said that it's a serious side effect and if I waited, I might have been in for a world of trouble.
I switched to a different iron supplement because the side effects from Ferrex were too much for me. It's worth trying other options if you're struggling.
I took Ferrex for a while and yeah, the constipation was brutal. Drinking lots of water and eating fiber-rich foods helped me a lot.
I had an upset stomach when I first started taking them, but it went away after a few days. It could be tough, but I think it's worth it.
