Has anyone had bad side effects from Ferrex 150mg Capsules?
I've been prescribed Ferrex 150mg Capsules for iron deficiency anemia, and I want to know the possible side effects and how to handle them. The packaging lists some urgent side effects that require immediate medical attention, such as allergic reactions, black stools, and vomiting blood. I had some strange green stools, which was a bit alarming. But my doctor said it was normal with iron supplements.
I got really lucky and didn't have to deal with any side effects. Be sure to take them with food to avoid an upset stomach.
Be careful with these. I had a friend who ended up in the hospital because of some serious stomach cramps.
