Has anyone had bad side effects from the Tiazac 420mg Extended Release capsules?
I've been prescribed Tiazac 420mg Extended Release capsules and wonder what possible side effects have been experienced by others. I know that this medication is supposed to help relax my blood vessels and slow down my heart rate, but I've heard that the side effects could be significant. Some of the urgent side effects seem really scary, like severe allergic reactions and liver problems. I want to hear from others who have taken this medication. How did you fare? Did you experience any of the less severe side effects like headaches or feeling dizzy? I'm nervous about the possibility of severe skin reactions, and a little worried about the idea of swelling in my arms and legs due to worsening heart failure. If anyone has any insights, tips, or stories to share, I'd really appreciate it. My doctor didn't really dive into the side effects in detail, and I want to know what to expect.

Tiazac helped me a lot with my angina, but I did have some issues with my skin. It was nothing major, just a bit of irritation and redness. I used some hydrocortisone cream and it cleared up pretty quickly. I didn’t have any of the severe reactions, which is a relief.
I switched to Tiazac from another calcium channel blocker and haven't had any major issues. I do get occasional headaches, but they're manageable with some over-the-counter pain relievers. Overall, it's been a good experience for me. My blood pressure is under control, and I haven't had any chest pain since I started taking it.
Ugh, I got really nervous when I read about the skin reactions. I have a history of skin conditions, so I was really scared of getting something like Stevens-Johnson syndrome. I talked to my doctor about it, and he said it's very rare, but he switched me to a different medication just to be safe.
I had a really bad reaction to Tiazac. I started getting hives and my throat felt really tight. I had to go to the ER because I couldn't breathe properly. Turns out I was having an allergic reaction. I'd say if you experience any of those symptoms, get help immediately. It's not worth the risk.
I had to stop taking Tiazac because it made me feel really dizzy. It was like walking on a boat all the time. My doctor switched me to another medication, and I feel so much better now. I think everyone's body reacts differently to medications, so it's important to listen to your body and talk to your doctor if something doesn't feel right.
I think it's crazy how every medication has so many potential side effects. It's like playing a game of chance with your health. I wish doctors could just prescribe something that works without all the risks. But hey, at least Tiazac has helped a lot of people, right?
I found that taking Tiazac at night helped with the dizziness. I used to feel really lightheaded in the morning, but now it's manageable. Just a heads up if anyone is struggling with that side effect. Also, make sure to stay hydrated and eat regularly—it helps with the overall feeling of weakness.
I felt really tired and weak when I first started taking Tiazac. It was hard to get through the day, but after a couple of weeks, it levelled out and I felt a lot better. I think it's important to give your body time to adjust to the medication.
Has anyone had issues with their liver while taking Tiazac? I'm a bit worried about the dark urine and yellow eyes symptoms. I've got a friend who had liver problems from a different medication, so I'm being extra cautious. I haven't had any issues yet, but I'm keeping a close eye on things.
I've been on Tiazac for a few months now, and the only side effects I've experienced are some headaches and occasional dizziness. Nothing too bad, but it's definitely something to keep an eye on.
