Has anyone had experience with Aralen 500mg for Lupus?
I was recently prescribed 500mg Aralen to help with my Lupus, and I'm not looking forward to the side effects. Has anyone had experience with this medication? I'm hoping to hear about any strange symptoms or experiences, as well as any positives, from people who have taken it. Thanks!

Be careful with this stuff. My friend took it and ended up with some serious side effects, including ringing in the ears and hallucinations. Scary stuff.
As long as you're taking the medication under proper medical supervision, you should be fine. Don't panic over the side effects. I've had no problems
I took Aralen for rheumatoid arthritis about 5 years ago. It helped a lot, but I had some odd skin changes like changes in hair color. Definitely nothing like what some of you are describing, though.
I'm on my third month of Aralen and so far, so good. No major side effects, just some stomach cramps. Fingers crossed it stays that way!
I had to stop taking Aralen because it was messing with my heart. Like this person said, it can cause serious problems with your heart, so watch out for those symptoms.
I've been on Aralen for a few months now for lupus. The biggest issue I've had is some hair loss and changes in skin color. But honestly, it's been a lifesaver for my joints. On the other hand, I did have some muscle pain
