I'm caring for a family member who has been prescribed Aricept 23mg tablets for severe Alzheimer's disease. I've read about the potential side effects, but I'm curious to hear from others who have experience with this medication. How has it affected your loved one? Have you noticed any improvements in memory or daily functioning? What about side effects—were they manageable? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I've been giving Aricept to my mom for about six months now. I've seen some improvements in her awareness and ability to perform daily tasks, but she did experience some dizziness at first. It's manageable now with some adjustments, though.

My neighbor’s mom was on Aricept and it helped a lot. She said it was a lifesaver. Maybe your family member will have a similar experience.

I'm a nurse and I've seen mixed results with Aricept. Some patients show significant improvement, while others don't respond as well. It's important to manage expectations and talk to the doctor regularly.

My dad was on Aricept, but we had to stop because of severe side effects. I'm glad it works for some people, but it's not a one-size-fits-all solution. Definitely monitor closely if you start.

I had to stop Aricept because of severe diarrhea. It was a nightmare. I'm not sure if the side effects are worth it for everyone, but it can be really helpful for some.

I don't know if I believe in this stuff. My grandma was on it and didn't get any better. It was a waste of time and money, in my opinion.
