I've been on Aripiprazole for about 6 months and it's been great. I do get some restlessness at night but it's totally manageable. It's important to stay on it as prescribed though, don't skip doses.
I have a friend who had to be hospitalized because of something called neuroleptic malignant syndrome. It was terrifying. Definitely keep an eye out for those symptoms!
I had a weird side effect: my tongue would stick out sometimes. It was so bizarre. Also, I had a lot of blurry vision at night. Talk to your doctor if you have anything weird like that.
