I've been prescribed Betamethasone Dip 0.05% Ointment for my eczema and psoriasis. It's a strong corticosteroid to help reduce redness, swelling, and itching. I'm curious to hear from others who have used it. What are your experiences? Any side effects? How long did it take to see results? It feels like an overwhelming amount of information to remember. What kind of results are you seeing?

The possible side effects are scary. I was wondering if anyone here has had any of these more severe side effects, or if these are truly rare. I'd love to know what to expect. I've heard some people say the burning/stinging is normal, but it's terrifying. Is it?

Thank you in advance for any insights or tips you can share! Let's help each other out.

I've been using it for a few months now, and it's been great. No major side effects, and my skin has really improved. Just make sure to use it as directed and talk to your doctor if you have any concerns. You should be fine if you don't overdo it.

Did you ask your doctor about alternative treatments? There are a few other options out there if this one doesn't work out. That is the big thing for me–make sure you have a good doctor who listens.

My doctor warned me about the adrenal gland issues. I keep a close eye on that stuff, but so far, so good. I'd rather be safe than sorry. Just something to keep in mind.

I've had pretty good results with this. The key is to be patient and consistent. It's not an overnight fix, but it does work. You just have to stick with it. I've had a couple of flare-ups, but this has always helped calm it down. Don't give up on it too soon.
