Has anyone had experience with Bupivacaine 0.25% Inj, 30ml for a medical procedure?
I've recently been prescribed Bupivacaine 0.25% Inj, 30ml for an upcoming medical procedure. The doctor mentioned it's a long-acting numbing medicine, which is good, but the list of urgent side effects is quite concerning. Has anyone had experience with this medication? I would love to hear about your experience and if there were side effects. I'm trying to understand the risk better. Is the list of side effects way too scary? I guess I am just worried and trying to get information before the procedure.
For those who have taken it, how was the recovery process? Were you able to manage the side effects well, or was it a bit of a struggle? Any and all insights would be really appreciated.

I had a friend who had a bad reaction to this. He said he felt like he was going into cardiac arrest. Scary stuff, but it's rare. Hopefully, you won’t have that experience.
I had this for an epidural during childbirth. It worked great, but I had some tingling in my legs for a while. It was a bit strange, but not too bad.
I had a friend who had a bad reaction to this. He said it was scary, but with proper medical care, everything is okay. But, everyone responds differently, so just be aware of the side effects and prepare.
As long as you're in a medical setting, you should be fine. The side effects sound scary, but they're rare. Just make sure you're in a place where they can help you if you need it.
I had Bupivacaine for a minor surgery and it worked great. I didn't experience any major side effects, but I did feel a bit dizzy for a while after. Definitely worth knowing all the side effects.
