I was recently prescribed Clinimix E 8% D10w Inj, 2000ml for intravenous nutrition. This medication is a combination of amino acids, dextrose, and electrolytes, and is administered when a patient cannot eat or absorb nutrients properly through their digestive system. I'm curious to know if anyone has had experience with this and what side effects they encountered. The possible side effects listed are quite extensive and range from mild irritation at the injection site to severe, life-threatening reactions. It’s a bit overwhelming. If you've used this, please share your experiences and any advice you might have.

Clinimix E is a lifesaver, but yes, it has its downsides. I kept getting this weird taste in my mouth and dizziness when they first started. It eased off after a few days once they adjusted the dosage.

I have never had to go through this, but I’ve seen some of my patients handle it pretty well. Communication with your doctor is key. They can adjust things as needed.

My experience was pretty smooth. Just make sure to report any unusual symptoms right away. The nurses are super attentive and will catch any issues early on.

I had a family member who had severe allergic reactions to this. It was scary—rashes, swelling, and trouble breathing. We had to rush to the hospital. If you notice any of those signs, do not wait, get medical help immediately.

I heard it can be really tough on the liver. Anyone else experience that or know more about it?
