I'm looking for insights from anyone who has used Clinolipid 20% 0.2g/1ml Inj, 500ml. I'm considering it for a family member who can't eat or absorb enough food. The FDA listing mentions some serious side effects, and I'm feeling a bit anxious. I'm looking for any advice or personal stories about using this medication. How did you manage side effects? Did you have any issues with the injection site? Any tips for making the experience more comfortable would be greatly appreciated.

I had to use this after surgery. The nurses made sure to check for any signs of infection constantly. It was a bit annoying, but I felt safe knowing they were looking out for me. Also, make sure to stay hydrated as much as possible while on this.

My dad was on this for a while. The worst part was the upset stomach, but it went away after a few days. Just make sure to talk to the doctor about any concerns.

I can't imagine being on this for long. I had a friend who got pancreatitis from it. That was a serious deal. It's scary, but like everyone else says, just monitor closely and you should be okay.

I used this for my mom when she was in the hospital. It was a bit scary at first with all the side effects, but she handled it well. Just make sure to monitor her closely for any signs of trouble. The nurses were great at checking the injection site daily.

This sounds like a nightmare. How long does someone usually need to be on this?

Wait, so this is basically IV fat? That's wild. I hope your family member feels better soon.

Totally agree with the monitoring. Had a relative on this for a few months. The key is communication with the medical team. They were on top of any issues right away.
