I was prescribed Glycopyrrolate 0.2mg/ml Inj, 2ml to help with excess saliva production and mucus in my airways during my upcoming surgery. It's meant to dry up these fluids by blocking certain signals in your body. However, I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects, especially the serious ones like allergic reactions, rapid heartbeat, and difficulty urinating. I've heard from a friend that it can also cause some pretty unpleasant dry mouth and dizziness. I guess the most important thing is to discuss any side effects or concerns with my doctor, but I'd love to hear from anyone who has personal experience with this drug. If you've had any interactions with this medication, please share your story— what did you experience and how did you manage it?

Seriously? I had to take this and never felt any different. No side effects. I just couldn't pee normally for a day. That's it.

I used it for a week and felt no different. Worked well, no side effects.

I only had the injection once and felt really dizzy afterward. I had to cancel my plans for the day. Now I just hope it doesn't happen again.

Dry mouth is the worst side effect. I was a mess.

I've had to use it a few times. It definitely does dry up the saliva and mucus, which was a relief during my surgery. I did experience some dry mouth, but it wasn't too bad. Just make sure to stay hydrated.
