I've been recently prescribed Isturisa 10mg to manage Cushing's disease, and I'm looking to hear from anyone who has tried it. Curious to know how effective it has been and which side effects were experienced. Is it as tough to deal with as it seems? I'm especially worried about the severe side effects like low potassium levels and adrenal gland problems. How have people managed these, and has anyone had issues with feeling constantly tired or anxious? Any tips or insights would be greatly appreciated!

Did anyone's doctor warn you about the possibility of an abnormal heartbeat? It sounds scary, and I’m not sure if it's something I’m prepared to deal with, even if it's rare.

I've been on Isturisa for about 6 months now. It's definitely helped with my symptoms, but the side effects were a challenge at first. I had some muscle cramps and weakness, so my doctor had me start taking potassium supplements. I also experienced a lot of fatigue, but that improved over time.

I saw my cortisol levels drop significantly after starting Isturisa. Just make sure to monitor your levels closely and communicate with your doctor regularly. The anxiety was something I did not expect, but thankfully, it was manageable.

I've heard about Isturisa but never tried it. I'm on another medication that has been fine so far. Good luck -- hope it works out for you!

I took Isturisa for a couple of months, but the side effects were too much for me. I had severe stomach pain and vomiting, so I had to switch to a different medication. It's a tough call, but I think it's worth talking to your doctor about other options if the side effects are too harsh

I had to stop taking Isturisa because of the severe headaches and dizziness. It was just too much to handle on top of everything else. I wish there was a lighter alternative.

Side effects are nothing new for us with Cushing's, but I hope Isturisa works for you. Fingers crossed! If not, don’t be too hard on yourself—it took me a few tries to find the right medication.
