Has anyone had experience with Lotensin 5mg Tablets for hypertension?
I've been prescribed Lotensin 5mg Tablets to manage my high blood pressure. The doctor said they're ACE inhibitors and work by relaxing blood vessels to help blood flow more easily. I'm just curious to know if anyone else has used this medication and what their experiences have been. Especially I'm interested to know about the side effects and benefits.

This med has a ton of side effects, so keep a close eye.
I switched to Lotensin after my doc said my kidneys were struggling with my old meds. It's been a game-changer. No more kidney issues.
A persistent cough is a common side effect of ACE inhibitors. If it happens, you should definitely talk to your doctor. Sometimes switching to a different class of blood pressure medications may help.
I had some issues with shortness of breath and swelling in my legs at first, but my doctor adjusted the dosage, and it's been fine since then.
Be careful with this med, I am so sensitive to ACE inhibitors they had to put me on something else.
I've been on Lotensin for a while now, and it's been great for controlling my blood pressure. I did experience some dizziness at first, but it went away after a few weeks. Just make sure to stay hydrated and monitor your blood pressure regularly.
I've been on Lotensin for years and don't have any issues. It's been a lifesaver for my blood pressure. Keep monitoring it and stay in touch with your doctor.
Lotensin worked well for me. Just make sure to avoid potassium-rich foods or supplements while on this medication because it can raise your potassium levels to dangerous levels. Bananas, oranges, and spinach are a few examples, but there are many more.
