I've been prescribed Morphine Sulfate Extended-Release Capsules to manage severe, long-lasting pain. I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially since it's an extended-release medicine that releases slowly over 24 hours. Has anyone else taken this medication? What should I expect? I'd love to hear any tips for managing side effects or just general advice on how to handle this new experience. Thanks in advance!

I've heard of people getting weird side effects sometimes. Very rare, but its best to stay aware, in case it happens to you.

I've been on these for a few months now and honestly, the constipation is the worst part. You will need a lot of fiber!

I've been on Morphine Sul for a while now, and the dizziness and drowsiness were a bit hard to deal with at first. I found that taking it at night helped me manage those side effects better. I've also had to be careful with constipation – lots of fiber and hydration have helped a lot.

Just be super careful with this stuff. It's strong and can be dangerous if not used right. I had a friend who had some severe reactions, so definitely talk to your doc often about how you're feeling.
