I've been researching Ontruzant 420mg Inj for treating HER2-positive breast cancer and stomach cancer. The medication sounds promising, but the list of potential side effects is concerning. Has anyone had experience with this treatment? I'm particularly interested in hearing about the urgent side effects, such as allergic reactions and tumor lysis syndrome. What are the most common side effects that people encounter, and how did you manage them? Any tips on how to cope with the more severe side effects? This is more than a curiosity for me; I have a close family member who needs to make an informed decision about this treatment. What made you choose Ontruzant and what was your experience like? What side effects did you experience, and how did you manage them? I'm looking for any information from personal experiences and particularly the long-term outlooks.

Just want to say, I wish you and your family member the best! Hope Ontruzant works for them. As a caregiver, I want to make sure that my family member is in safe hands, and this treatment is used as a last resort.

Just a heads-up, make sure to monitor for signs of infection. I had a sore throat that turned into strep throat, and it was a nightmare. My immune system was already compromised, so it was a double whammy. Be proactive about your health and don't hesitate to call your doctor if something feels off.

What about long-term side effects? I've heard some scary stuff. I would want my doctor to be very clear about the long-term effects. The immediate side effects are hard enough, but knowing the long-term impacts could be a game-changer.

Interesting thread. I had a friend try Ontruzant, and he suffered from many of these side effects and had to take an extended break from treatment. Was it worth it? I have to ask. He lived for an extra year and that was it. But, the treatment was excruciating. Maybe for a better life expectancy it is worth it, but it's a difficult call to make. I'd speak to as many professionals as you can and get a second opinion if necessary.

This sounds like a nightmare. I had a friend who tried Ontruzant and ended up with severe allergic reactions. She had to stop the treatment altogether. I hope your family member has a better experience. Was it worth it for such a dangerous treatment? Her doctor should recommend something safer for sure.

I've had a good experience with Ontruzant. I had severe nausea and vomiting initially, but my doctor prescribed anti-nausea meds which helped a lot. Feeling dizzy is the real side effect. I also noticed some muscle and joint pain, but it wasn't too bad. Make sure to discuss with your doctor to manage the side effects effectively.
