I've had gallbladder issues before and was worried about that. But with regular monitoring from my doctor and good support from the medical staff, everything seemed to be okay in the end. I also made sure to stay hydrated and keep my electrolytes balanced.
I've been on parenteral nutrition for a while, and while Perikabiven is a bit different from what I've used before, I'd say it's just as effective. I've had to manage a few side effects, but overall, it's been worth it for my health.
Yeah, the side effects list is scary, but remember, they're also rare. I think the benefits of PN outweigh the risks for most people. Just stay in touch with your doctor and monitor your health closely. Trust the process. I did and it got better.
I hope the side effects aren't as bad as they sound. I've been on a lot of medications, but this one seems a bit more intense.
I got sick of them always trying to shove their medications down my throat in the hospital. I was sick. I didn't want to eat it but they put it in my veins.
