Has anyone had experience with Pravastatin 20mg Tablets? Worth trying for high cholesterol?
I've recently been prescribed Pravastatin 20mg Tablets to help lower my high cholesterol and triglyceride levels. I've heard it can help prevent heart attacks and strokes, but I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects. Has anyone here tried Pravastatin? What was your experience like? I'm glad to hear that many of you have had positive experiences. I'm a bit worried about the liver problems mentioned in the side effects. Should I be more concerned about that, or is it rare?
Pravastatin worked great for me. My cholesterol levels dropped significantly, and I didn't experience any serious side effects. Just a bit of an upset stomach initially, but it went away after a few weeks. Definitely worth trying if your doctor recommends it.
I've been on Pravastatin for a year now, and it's been fine. I switched from simvastatin and this has been a better option for me. I only experienced a bit of dizziness at first, but it went away.
I had a terrible experience with Pravastatin. I developed severe muscle pain and had to stop taking it. Turns out I have low thyroid function, which increased the risk. Make sure to talk to your doctor about any underlying conditions.
If you exercise, it can help mitigate the side effects. At least my doctor told me that. I've been working out more and taking pravastatin and my cholesterol is doing well.
I've been taking Pravastatin for a while and I've noticed some weird chest pains. I called my doctor and he told me that it can be a side effect of the medication, but I should see him right away since that is a major side effect.
I've been joking that I'm going to dye my hair yellow and see if the docs notice anything.... But seriously, I'm worried about the liver problems. It's good to have this information.
