I've been prescribed Recarbrio 1.25gm Inj for a severe urinary tract infection that hasn't responded to other antibiotics. I've read about the potential side effects, and I'm a bit nervous. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? What was your experience like? Any tips for managing side effects if they occur? I'm particularly concerned about the more serious side effects like seizures and allergic reactions.

I'm a nurse and have administered Recarbrio to patients. It's a powerful antibiotic with a good track record, but it definitely has potential sides. Make sure to tell your doctors if you experience anything. If it gets to the point of feeling really ill, make sure your doctor is aware as soon as possible.

I was surprised by how well it worked. I had a really bad case of pneumonia, and it cleared it up in a few days. No major side effects either!

What I wish I knew before taking this: Do not forget to eat snacks often, and you’ll feel much better. My doctor advised me to stick to bland foods and avoid dairy while on this medication. Good luck, man!

Make sure to keep a close eye on any signs of an allergic reaction. It's scary but manageable if you catch it early. I know someone who had a severe reaction and had to be hospitalized.

I had no side effects, but I'm worried about the long-term effects. Has anyone looked into that?

Be prepared for some nasty side effects. I had diarrhea every time I took it. No fun!

I had to use Recarbrio a few years ago for a bad case of pneumonia. It worked wonders, but I did have some pretty severe upset stomach and diarrhea. Doctors gave me some tips to manage it, like eating smaller meals and staying hydrated. I took the medication in the evening, so I didn't have to worry as much about feeling sick during the day.

My brother had a severe UTI and the antibiotics they gave him were not working. The doctors said the bacteria was resistant, so they gave him Recarbrio. He recovered well, but he did get some severe diarrhea after. I am more concerned about the allergies!

I was prescribed Recarbrio for a severe UTI, and I must say, the recovery was surprisingly quick, but I did experience some nausea and muscle cramps. Make sure to talk with your doctor about any concerns. Trust me on this, because I was hesitant to ask questions at first, just remember it’s better to be safe about this.

I had trouble controlling movements for a couple of days, but it resolved after I stopped the meds. Just be observant. It was a scary time for me, but my doctor managed to help me a lot.
