We recently started our 8-year-old on Skytrofa 11mg Inj Cartridge to help with growth hormone deficiency. The injections are once a week, and it's been a bit of an adjustment. I'm curious to hear from other parents about their experiences, especially regarding side effects and any tips for making the injection process easier. The potential side effects list is quite long and a bit scary, so I'd love to hear if anyone has dealt with any of these issues and how they managed them. Additionally, does anyone know if there are any long-term effects that we should be aware of?

Why do they make these injections so hard? Our kiddo hates the shots, and it's been a struggle. Any tips for making it less traumatic?

My biggest worry is the potential for bone problems. I've been super careful about monitoring for any signs of pain or limping.

This stuff is a godsend. Our son was so behind in growth and now he's catching up beautifully. Make sure you explain to your child what is happening .

Skytrofa is a long-term commitment. Make sure you're prepared for the weekly injections and regular check-ups. The nurse who administers the shot is very kind and understanding.

Just started Skytrofa, and so far, no major issues. My concern is how to handle possible raised pressure in the head since my child has Prader-Willi syndrome. Has anyone dealt with this and managed the symptoms effectively?
