I was prescribed Solu-Medrol 1gm Inj by my doctor for a severe asthma attack. It worked amazingly well, but I'm a bit concerned about the side effects. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? What was your experience like? Did you encounter any of the serious side effects? Also, what should we do if we experience any unusual symptoms?

I got it for an autoimmune issue and it worked really quickly. I had some weird symptoms, but nothing too bad, and it was great to feel better almost immediately. Definitely worth the risk if you're in a bad spot.

I've had it a couple of times for severe allergic reactions. It definitely kicks in quickly, but yeah, the side effects can be intense. Stay hydrated and keep a close eye on any symptoms.

I had it once during a bad flare-up of my rheumatoid arthritis, it was a life-saver. It did make me feel pretty rough for a couple of days, but it was worth it to get the inflammation under control.

I used Solu-Medrol for a flare up of my autoimmune disease. No serious side effects, but I did have some insomnia and excessive sweating. It was worth it to get the inflammation under control.

Note to self: Always read the side effects before taking any medication, no matter how desperate you are. I just threw up for a day after taking it, and it was the worst pain I've ever had. Don't skip on that part of the prescription.

You guys are scaring me. I've had it for a painful flare-up and the side effects aren't fun but the relief of the pain was great. Definitely be cautious though.

I had a bad experience with it. I ended up with severe headaches and restlessness. Definitely talk to your doctor about it.

I had to get this injection for an allergic reaction and it worked like magic. The side effects weren't fun, but it was worth it to get the swelling down and feel normal again. Just go in with a heads-up about the side effects.
