Has anyone had experience with Sulfacetamide Na 10% Oph Soln 15ml for pink eye? What are the worst side effects to look out for?
I was prescribed Sulfacetamide eye drops for a bacterial infection in my eye. The prescription label came with a long list of potential side effects, but it didn't really explain what's likely to happen. Has anyone else used these eye drops? What were the side effects like? I'm particularly worried about the more severe side effects listed.

I had a bad reaction to these drops. I got a rash and some blistering, which was scary. Had to go to the ER. Turns out I'm allergic to sulfa drugs. I had no idea these eye drops contained that stuff.
I've used these drops a few times and never had any issues. They work well for bacterial conjunctivitis, in my experience. Just make sure to follow the instructions carefully.
