I'm considering the Supprelin LA 50mg Implantkit for my child who is experiencing early puberty. The implant seems like a convenient option, as it lasts for 12 months and can help regulate hormones. On the other hand, the potential side effects are concerning, especially the urgent ones that require immediate medical attention. Has anyone had experience with this treatment? What were the results, and how did you handle any side effects? I would appreciate any insights or advice from parents who have gone through this. The doctor didn't provide much detail, so I'm looking for real-world experiences to better understand what we might be in for.

It's it your child’s first time getting an implant? We got some strange new body smells, but it faded after a while. Just stay alert, especially in the first month or so. It should ease off after that.

Did your doctor mention anything about raised intracranial pressure? I'd be worried about that. How can you even be sure if it's not a huge headache?

I think the side effects list is pretty scary. I'd be worried about the risks. Maybe there are other, less invasive options to consider?

My kid had a bit of irritation at the site, but it was manageable. Just keep an eye on it and you should be good. Good luck with your decision. I hope it works out for you

This whole thing sounds a bit extreme. Sure, puberty is tough, but is it worth the risk of seizures or depression? Sounds to me like we should be looking at some simpler options.
