I've recently been prescribed Voranigo 40mg Tablets for my IDH-mutant diffuse glioma. I've read the usual side effects but wondering if anyone has experience with more rare side effects that can happen, and how effective it is. With this specialty tumor treatment does anyone know how much the medication cost? If anyone has a few minutes to answer what your insurance company covered, that would be great. I need some perspective before I start the medication. What are some of the best practices for taking the medicine?

I had terrible headaches and muscle cramps for the first two weeks. But it got better. I got really bad constipation for the first few months, but managed it with laxatives and fiber.

I've been on Voranigo for a year now. My tumor has shrunk by 30% and the side effects have been manageable, but my blood work was a nightmare, I lost 75% of my hair from the effects of the medication.

My doctor mentioned something about high blood sugar. I didn't know this was a risk. Anyone else have this issue?

I heard that Voranigo can be really expensive. My insurance covered most of it, but there was still a hefty co-pay. Anyone know if there are any assistance programs out there?

I've had a few friends who took this medication. The worst side effect was the electrolyte imbalances. They had to monitor their blood work like crazy. Be prepared for some frequent doctor visits.

My mom was on Voranigo, and she had some severe allergic reactions. It was scary, but we caught it early and she's doing better now. Make sure to keep a close eye on any unusual symptoms. They were able to manage it with steroids, but it was a rough time.
