I'm starting Briumvi for my MS and I'm a bit nervous about the potential infusion reactions. I've read that they can range from mild to severe, including things like itching, rash, flushing, and even trouble breathing. Has anyone here had any experiences with these reactions? How did you manage them? I'd love to hear from others who have been through this.

I've heard mixed things about Briumvi. Some people swear by it, others have had horrible experiences with side effects. Good luck with your treatment!

Wow, that's tough. I had no idea Briumvi could cause such serious reactions. I’m glad I’m on a different medication. Be careful out there!

I've been on Briumvi for about a year now and haven't had any infusion reactions. It's always good to be prepared, though. Make sure you discuss it with your neurologist. My doctor gave me a list of things to watch for during and after the infusion.

I had my first infusion and it went fine, but I felt so tired after. Have any of you felt like that?

You might want to ask your doctor about premedication with steroids or Benadryl. It can really help with the infusion reactions. Just a heads up, though, the steroids messed with my sleep for a couple of days each time.

I had a mild reaction the first time I got it, some itching and flushing. My doctor gave me some Benadryl before the next infusion, and I didn't have any issues after that.

I had a friend who had a really bad reaction to Briumvi. They went through it maybe 2-3 times, and they were hit with a fever, chills, and trouble breathing. They switched to a different treatment and haven’t looked back. I would talk to your doctor and make sure you’re clear on the risks.

I've heard some scary stories about PML, too. That's a serious concern. I think I'd rather deal with a few infusion reactions than risk that.

I wish I had known about all these side effects, I've had a bad reaction. My doctor had me take some meds to calm it down, but I still felt sick. Stick with Ocrevus, it doesn't leave you feeling like your on death's doorstep.

A friend of a friend had to stop Briumvi after having a severe reaction. It was scary, and they couldn’t do it anymore. I’m not sure what they switched to yet, but I hope it works out for them. Everyone’s experience can be so different!
