Has anyone had issues with lactic acidosis from Metformin ER 750mg 24hr Tabs?

I had some pretty bad side effects when I first started taking Metformin, like heartburn, and a lot of gas. I got prescribed some OTC meds to help with those symptoms. If your doctor says it's OK to do so, they might help with your symptoms too. No one likes having stomach problems!
