I've been prescribed Dolobid 500mg Tablets for my osteoarthritis, and I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects. The list is quite long, and some of them seem really serious. Has anyone here taken this medication and experienced any of the severe side effects like kidney problems, liver issues, or severe skin reactions? I'm trying to understand if these are rare or if they happen more often than the information provided suggests. Also, what should I do if I experience any of these side effects? Should I stop taking the medication immediately or consult my doctor first? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I had some weird vision changes on Dolobid. Everything was a bit blurry, and I had some eye pain. Went to the doctor, and they said it was a known side effect. Switched meds after that.

I’ve been on it for a year and haven’t had any issues. Just the usual stomach upset sometimes. But yeah, the side effects list is scary. Might be worth asking your doctor about other options if you’re really worried.

I had a friend who ended up in the hospital with some kind of liver issue from this stuff. Scary stuff. Just be careful and pay attention to what your body is telling you.

I had some joint pain getting worse when I started this. Thought it was weird since it’s supposed to help with that. Doc switched me to something else and it helped.

I had a weird rash that started on my arms and then spread. Went to the doctor and they said it could be a reaction to the Dolobid. Switched meds and the rash went away. Freaky stuff.

I've been on Dolobid for a few months now and haven't had any major issues. Just the occasional headache, but nothing too bad. I think it's important to monitor your symptoms closely, though. If you notice anything unusual, definitely talk to your doctor.
