Has anyone had severe side effects from Acular 0.5% Ophth Solution after cataract surgery?
I recently had cataract surgery and was prescribed Acular 0.5% Ophth Solution to help with pain and swelling. The instructions were clear, and I've been using it as directed. My doctor told me that some irritation is normal, but severe pain or changes in vision are not. If you're worried, definitely call your doctor.
I had no issues with Acular. Maybe it's just not the right medication for you. Talk to your doctor about alternatives.
I had a really bad allergic reaction to Acular. My eyes swelled up, and I had trouble breathing. I had to go to the ER. Definitely get checked out if you're having issues.
Eye pain is serious, better to be safe than sorry. Call your doctor if you're feeling something is not right.
I had some blurred vision, but it went away after a few days. Just make sure you're not overusing the drops. Stick to the prescribed dose.

I had a small irritation from Acular but nothing bad. I just rinsed my eyes with saline solution and it went away.
