I recently started taking Amox-Clav 875-125mg Tablets for an infection and I am a bit concerned about the potential side effects. The list is quite long, and while I haven't experienced anything severe yet, I'm a bit worried about the possibility of allergic reactions or other serious issues. Is this medication a common prescription? Has anyone had severe side effects from Amox-Clav 875-125? I know reactions can be rare, but I'd like to hear from anyone who might have gone through something similar. I've also seen mention of side effects for children, specifically diarrhea. Are these common or are there ways to prevent them? I am taking this for the first time, and I want to be prepared. Has anyone had any luck with this medication, or has anyone experienced any severe things like a liver problem or drug-induced enterocolitis syndrome?

I've had no problem with Amox-Clav. I did have a weird reaction to another antibiotic, though. Makes me wonder if I'll react the same way to everything

I know someone who had a severe skin reaction to it. It's rare, but it can happen. Just be aware of any changes and go to a doctor if it looks bad.

I've taken Amox-Clav a few times and the only thing I really noticed is upset stomach. Try taking it with food or something. Man, I had some crazy diarrhea. I think I'll stick more to antibiotics that don't cause that every time.

Diarrhea is definitely common, but if you get really bad cramps or bloody stools, go to the doctor. Could be C. difficile.

I got really dizzy and passed out after taking it. Went to the ER and they said it was low blood pressure. Be careful if you're driving or operating machinery.

This is a common combo for infections, so you should be okay. Just watch for the serious stuff and you'll probably be fine.
