I was recently prescribed Depo-Medrol for my arthritis, and I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. The list is quite long, and some of them sound really scary. Has anyone here had any severe reactions to this medication? I want to be prepared if something comes up, but I'm hoping it won't. I've had my prescription for a week. I took it last Wednesday and Thursday. Any advice?

I had a bad reaction to it. I got severe joint pain and fatigue. I wish you the best of luck, though. I hope you don’t have any issues at all.

I'm on it now and so far, so good. Just a bit of insomnia, but nothing major. I hope it stays that way. I've been taking it for 2 months and it has been worth it so far. Fingers crossed for you.

I had to take it for a severe allergic reaction and it worked great. No side effects for me, but I had been to the hospital for a severe reaction and nothing else had worked. I hope it goes well for you!

I had a bad reaction to it. I had a severe headache and crazy vision changes. I had to stop using it. I'm sorry you're going through this. I hope it works for you, but be careful.

I took Depo-Medrol for a while and had some bad reactions, so I'm glad to see others asking about this. I had trouble with my skin, it was super dry. I was very tired for a while. I would stay away from it if you can. Not worth it.

I had severe back pain after my second shot. It was so bad I thought I was having a heart attack. I called the doctor right away. Turns out my back was in spasm. Less common than the other stuff, but it happens.
