I was prescribed Ocuflox 0.3% Ophthalmic Solution for a bacterial eye infection, and while it seems to be working, I'm feeling a bit nervous. I've read about some pretty serious side effects, like Stevens-Johnson syndrome, and it's got me worried. Has anyone else had issues with this medication, or am I just being overly cautious? I'd love to hear about other people's experiences. Thanks!

I had Ocuflox a few years ago for pink eye, and I didn't experience any serious issues. Just a bit of stinging when I applied the drops, but it went away quickly. It might not be as bad as you think.

I had a bad reaction to it, it was incredibly painful. Swelling and itching, and I was constantly worried about the side effects listed, it was a horrible experience.

I had a friend who had a severe allergic reaction to this stuff. She had to go to the ER. I'd be careful, man. Maybe try to find a second opinion.

I've heard of people getting Stevens-Johnson syndrome from this, and it's terrifying. It's so rare, though. I wouldn't worry too much.

I've had this many times, and the only issue I have are the stinging and burning sensations. Those were expected, and other than that, I've had no issues.
