I was prescribed Prinivil 20mg Tablets for high blood pressure and have been taking them for a few weeks now. I've been experiencing some dizziness and a persistent cough, which I've heard are common side effects of lisinopril. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences or if they have gone away over time. Also, are there any tips for managing these symptoms? And what about the more severe side effects mentioned in the warnings? Has anyone encountered those?

I experienced the worst dizziness of my life on Prinivil. I was basically out of it for days so I switched to something else. I would never take it again.

I’ve heard that a lot of people get a cough from lisinopril. My doc says it's pretty common but for me, it didn't get so bad that I had to stop taking it.

I never experienced any side effects from Prinivil but I did have a bad reaction to another blood pressure medication. I've been taking Lisinopril for years so I'm not sure why people have problems with it.

I've been on Prinivil for a year and never had any serious issues but I have experienced some dizziness. Helpful to keep a diary on when it happens and what you were eating.

I switched to a different medication after experiencing severe dizziness and pressure in my chest. Always listen to your body and consult your doctor if something feels off.

I had some pretty bad kidney problems while on this. I had to stop taking it and switch to a different medication. I really wish I had spoken to my doctor about it sooner.

I had a persistent cough for the first month but it went away eventually. My doctor advised continuing the medication unless side effects become unbearable.

I've been on this medication for a good while and had no issues. Some people are just luckier than others! But, if you're experiencing bad side effects, talk to your doc about it. They might be able to help.
