I've been prescribed Chlorpromazine for severe nausea, and I'm a little worried about the side effects. I've heard some pretty scary stuff from friends. I just started taking Chlorpromazine 100mg after my doctor prescribed it for my schizophrenia. I'm a bit nervous about the side effects, especially the serious ones like Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome and Tardive Dyskinesia. Has anyone else experienced these, or have any advice on how to manage the side effects? I've also heard that it can cause some really unusual symptoms, like uncontrollable hiccups and changes in vision. How have others dealt with these issues? Do you think it's worth the risk? Let me know your thoughts!

I've read about Tardive Dyskinesia and it's terrifying. I would definitely talk to my doctor about the risks and alternative treatments if you're really concerned. It's better to be safe than sorry.

I've been on Chlorpromazine for a few months now, and I've had some issues with constipation and a bit of weight gain, but overall, it's been pretty manageable. I've had to watch my diet more closely, but it hasn't been too bad. I'm just glad it's helping with my schizophrenia symptoms.

I was worried about the dizziness, but a couple of weeks in, and I feel normal again. I do feel a bit more tired, but I can finally control my hiccups again so I'm happy. It worked like a nightmare. People keep commenting about my red cheeks, but they think it just looks like a sunburn.

I had to stop taking it because of the severe dizziness. It got to the point where I couldn't even stand up without feeling like I was going to pass out. It's a tough medication to deal with, but everyone's experience is different. If you're having bad side effects, talk to your doctor about adjusting the dose or switching medications.

I had night sweats and my heart was racing, and I felt like I couldn't breathe. I went to the hospital and it turned out I had NMS. It was scary, but I'm okay now. Just be careful, and if you feel anything unusual, go to the doctor immediately.

I've been on Chlorpromazine for a while now, and I've had some side effects but nothing too serious. The drowsiness has been a bit of a challenge, but it's manageable. I just make sure to take it at night and I'm fine. The occasional dry mouth is annoying, but I keep some gum handy and it helps.
