Has anyone had success or side effects using Avodart 0.5mg Capsules for BPH?

I’ve had no side effects at all, but I’ve been on it for a while. My doctor said the side effects are usually more pronounced in the first few months. You might just need to give it some time to assess the side effects.

I switched to Avodart after Finasteride didn't work. My urologist said this is more potent. My prostate shrank and my flow improved, but I had to deal with some dizziness and decrease in libido. Your mileage may vary.

Be prepared for any sexual side effects to be very persistent. I've had a few guys that got symptoms over a year after stopping. Still no firm idea why.

Its crazy that a treatment for prostate can mess with your sexual health. Why not just ignore the prostate issue until surgery is needed?. Maybe a bit too much of a tradeoff for some...
