Has anyone had success stopping tobacco and depression with This med?
I've been prescribed Bupropion SR 150mg Tablets (12 H) to manage my depression and help me quit smoking. Curious to know if anyone else has had success with this medication for both conditions. How long did it take to see improvements? I'm also a bit anxious about the potential side effects, especially the more serious ones. Has anyone experienced any of those? Any tips on managing them would be greatly appreciated. Also, I've heard that it can cause vivid dreams, does anyone have any experience with that?

I'm on my second week and I'm not sure if it's working. I feel jittery and my anxiety is through the roof. Maybe it's just the adjustment period?
I've been on this medication for years now, and I've had no issues. I had a few vivid dreams at the start, but nothing too crazy. I also had a few minor side effects like dry mouth or nausea, but nothing serious. I also had a few headaches but I don't know if that was from medication or something else.
My doctor recommended an eye exam before starting this medication. I had no idea it could affect your eyes! Just a heads-up to anyone starting this.
Be careful with this med, I had a really bad reaction. I started experiencing seizures after a few weeks and had to stop taking it immediately. It was terrifying, definitely speak with your doctor if you experience any of the more serious side effects.
I've been on it for a year now, and it's been amazing. I started with 150mg and eventually moved up to 300mg. I experienced some nausea and dizziness initially at 150mg, but it's been fine at 300mg.
I've been on the withdrawals from this med for a few weeks now, and it's rough. I feel like a zombie and my depressive symptoms are coming back. I'm not sure if it's worth it, but I'll stick it out for a few more weeks to see if it gets better.
