I was recently diagnosed with Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP) and my doctor prescribed Promacta 25mg Tablets. I was hoping to hear from others who have used this medication to treat ITP or aplastic anemia. How has it worked for you? What side effects did you experience? Did you notice any improvements in your platelet count? Anything you wish you had known before starting this treatment? I'd appreciate any insights or advice you can share.

I switched to Promacta after years of dealing with ITP. While it has helped a lot with my bleeding issues, I've had to deal with some uncomfortable side effects. Some of the side effects I had were muscle pain and strange eye issues. I'm grateful for the relief, but it's been a bit rough, too.

I started Promacta last month and so far, so good. I had some stomach issues at first, but my doctor adjusted the dosage, and it's gotten better. I'm hoping to see my platelet count improve soon. Good luck to everyone on this journey!

I switched from another med to Promacta and noticed an improvement in my platelet count quickly. The muscle pains were annoying, but my body adjusted to it after a month.

I wonder if anyone has had any problems with blood clots while on Promacta? I've heard some scary stories, and it's got me a bit worried.

I was nervous about starting Promacta, but my doctor assured me that the benefits would outweigh the side effects. He was right. I've had some fatigue and muscle pain, but my platelet count has improved significantly. Just be patient and stick with it, I think it should get better.

I had a really rough time with Promacta. I had severe headaches and nausea that lasted for weeks. I ended up switching to a different medication because the side effects were unbearable. I wish I had known how bad the side effects could be before I started taking it.

I've been on Promacta for about 6 months now, and it's been a game-changer for my ITP. My platelet count has stabilized, and I haven't had any major bleeding issues since I started taking it. The side effects were manageable—mostly just some headaches and fatigue at first, but they subsided after a few weeks.

Promacta has been a lifesaver for me. My platelet count was so low that I had to frequently avoid any hard activities, it was nerve-wracking. I started taking it a year ago, and it's been a life-changer. I only had a few minor side effects, like dizziness and muscle spasm, but it was worth it.
