I was recently prescribed Albuterol 0.083%(2.5mg/3ml) 25x3ml for my asthma. It's a 'rescue' medicine used to quickly open up the airways in your lungs when you have trouble breathing. I use it with a nebulizer, which turns the liquid medicine into a fine mist that I breathe in. So far, it seems to help, but I'm curious to hear from others who have used this specific formulation. How effective has it been for you? Have you experienced any unusual side effects? I've read about potential allergic reactions and other urgent side effects, so I'm a bit nervous. Any tips on managing these side effects would be appreciated.

I've had some issues with high blood pressure when using Albuterol, and my doctor had to adjust my dosage. Make sure you tell your doctor if you have any history of high blood pressure or heart problems.

Make sure to rinse your mouth after using the nebulizer to avoid any throat irritation. I had to learn this the hard way!

This might sound weird, but sometimes when I use it, I actually feel like I can think more clearly for a while.

I've been on this for a week and I'm still having asthma withdrawals and I'm not sure what to do about it.

I've been using Albuterol for years, and it's been a lifesaver for my asthma. The nebulizer is a bit of a hassle, but it works well. Just make sure to clean it regularly to avoid any infections. I've had some shakiness and a bit of a headache after using it, but nothing too severe. Be careful with the dosage instructions and always consult a doctor if you feel any signs of allergic reaction.

I'm curious to know how long it usually takes for the medication to start working after you use the nebulizer. My doctor gave me a new batch and I'm not sure if I'm doing it right.

I've had severe allergic reactions to medications before, so I'm always really cautious with new prescriptions. I've had no side effects yet, but I'm always checking for those things and I'm careful that it hasn't been contaminated.

Interesting that's not something i've experienced so far, maybe my dosage is just right.
