I've been prescribed Cyclobenzaprine 30mg ER Capsules for muscle spasms and I was wondering if anyone else has tried this medication and how effective it was for them. The doctor said it would help to act on the brain to help relax muscles and reduce pain, but I'm curious to know about real-life experiences. Specifically, I'm interested in knowing if it was helpful for long-term use, how long it took to see results, and if there were any significant side effects. I've also seen warnings about serotonin syndrome which seems very scary. How risky is it, especially if I'm taking other medications? Any advice on managing side effects like dizziness or fatigue would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I've had good results with it, but I take the lowest dose and use it only when I really need it. It's not something I want to rely on long-term.

I feel like the doctor kinda glossed over the side effects when they prescribed it. Be your own advocate and ask a lot of questions, guys!

I found that combining it with physical therapy really helped. The muscle relaxation from the medication made my exercises more effective.

I think it's worth a try if you're in a lot of pain. Just make sure to talk to your doctor about any other meds you're taking. I had to stop taking a supplement because it could have interacted badly.
