I've recently started my child on Diacomit 500mg Powder Pack to help control their seizures associated with Dravet Syndrome. It's been a bit of a journey, and I'm curious to know if anyone else has experience with this medication. How effective has it been for you? What side effects have you encountered, if any? Any tips on managing those side effects would be greatly appreciated. Additionally, I'm interested in hearing about how it works in conjunction with other seizure medicines, especially clobazam and valproate. Any insights or personal experiences would be helpful!

I feel like this medication is a bit of a double-edged sword. It definitely helps with the seizures, but the side effects can be rough. Just make sure you're prepared for that and stay in close contact with your doctor.

Make sure to report any side effects to your doctor right away. It's better to be safe than sorry.

I've been on Diacomit for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer. The seizures have significantly reduced, but I did experience some dizziness and nausea at first. It got better over time though, and I can cope with it now. I'm also taking clobazam and valproate, and it seems to work well together. Just make sure to monitor your blood counts regularly, as it can affect them.

Anyone tried combining Diacomit with CBD oil? I've heard it can help with some of the side effects.

Diacomit has been a lifesaver for my daughter. We've seen a significant reduction in seizures, and the side effects have been minimal. Just make sure to follow the dosage instructions carefully and monitor for any signs of allergic reaction.

My child had a bad reaction to it too. We switched to something else.

I've heard that Diacomit can increase the levels of other seizure medicines in the body. Has anyone else noticed this? How do you manage the dosage?

I had to switch to Diacomit because nothing else was working. It's been a rough road, but it's definitely helped with the seizures. The side effects are manageable, but it's important to stay in close contact with your neurologist.
