I was recently prescribed Dicyclomine 10mg/5ml Solution for my irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). It's been a few weeks, and I'm not sure if it's helping or not. Has anyone else tried this medication? What were your experiences? I noticed some dizziness and drowsiness, but I'm not sure if those are side effects or just my body adjusting. Any advice or similar experiences would be appreciated!

I felt like it helped a bit, but the side effects were too much for me. I was constantly dizzy and had trouble focusing on work. I switched to a different medication and it's been much better.

My doctor recommends starting with a smaller dose and gradually increasing it. I did that and it helped a lot. Maybe try that if you're feeling uncomfortable?

Definitely discuss these symptoms with your doctor. I felt like the cramps reduced, but some of the side-effects like blurred vision were a bit too much. Maybe you need a lower dose?

I've been on Dicyclomine for a while now, and it's been a game-changer for me. I didn't experience any major side effects, just a bit of dry mouth. But the reduction in cramps and pain was worth it. Hang in there, it might just take some time to kick in.

I had a really bad reaction to this stuff. I started sweating profusely and had trouble breathing. I had to stop taking it immediately. Definitely talk to your doctor if you're feeling anything concerning.

Interesting, my experience was different. It actually helped with the cramps and pain, but it made me feel really tired. I had to switch to taking it at night instead of in the morning so I could get some rest.

I took this for a month and it did nothing for me. Spent the whole time feeling like I was walking on a cloud because of the dizziness. I was ready to throw it away.
