I was recently prescribed Eltrombopag 50mg Tablets for immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), and I'm curious about others' experiences. Eltrombopag helps your body make more platelets, which are crucial for stopping bleeding. It's used to treat conditions like ITP, severe aplastic anemia, and low platelets due to chronic hepatitis C. I've read about some serious side effects, so I'm a bit nervous. Has anyone else taken this medication? How was your experience? What were the side effects like? Was it worth it in the end? I'd appreciate any insights or tips you can share!

I've been on Eltrombopag for a few months now. It's been a game-changer for my ITP. My platelet count has stabilized, and I haven't had any major bleeding issues. The side effects were manageable—mostly just some headaches and stomach issues at first. Definitely worth it for the improvement in my quality of life.

I'm on week 3 and so far so good. Fingers crossed it keeps working!

I felt like I had the flu the first few weeks. Fatigue, chills, the works. But after that, it leveled out and my ITP improved. Just power through the initial side effects if you can.

My experience was mixed. The medication helped with my platelet count, but I had some nasty eye problems. If you notice any changes in your vision, don't wait—get to a doctor ASAP.

I was on Eltrombopag for about six months. It was a roller coaster. My platelet count went up, but I had some really bad headaches and dizziness. My doctor adjusted the dosage, and it got better. Just be patient and work closely with your healthcare provider.

Been there, done that. It's not a fun ride, but if you need it, it's worth it. Just be prepared for the side effects and stay in touch with your doctor.

I had a nasty allergic reaction—rashes and swelling all over. Had to stop taking it immediately. Make sure you stay in close contact with your doctor while starting this medication!
