I've recently started using Finacea 15% Gel for my rosacea and mild acne. It's been a few weeks, and I'm seeing some improvement, but I've also experienced some skin irritation. I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences or advice on how to manage the side effects. Also, how long did it take to see significant results? I've been washing my face with a gentle cleanser and using a light moisturizer, but I'm open to other suggestions. Additionally, what about the long-term effects? I know this can be a sensitive topic, but the more information I can gather, the better I can make informed decisions about my skin care journey. Thanks in advance for any help!

I gave up on Finacea after a week. The side effects were too much for me to handle. I tried Metronidazole instead, and it worked much better for my rosacea.

I switched from Finacea to a different topical because of the irritation. I'm glad I did, but I'm not sure how long-term use of Finacea would have affected my skin. Always good to talk to a dermatologist for the best advice.

Finacea is great but it can be a bit harsh. I found using a hydrating serum before applying the gel really helped with the dryness and irritation.

I started using Finacea a month ago and noticed a significant reduction in redness after two weeks. I did experience some burning initially, but it went away after a few days. Stick with it, and moisturize well.

Beware of the side effects. I had a really bad reaction to Finacea—the skin around my eyes swelled up, and I had to stop using it. Ended up switching to a different topical which is gentler on my skin.

I've had success with Finacea for my rosacea too, but it took a while. The burning and stinging were tough to deal with, but I finally started seeing improvements after about eight weeks. Moisturizing with a fragrance-free lotion helped.

I've been using it for about 2 months now. The burning sensation is still there but it's not as bad as what it was. My redness has reduced a lot. Stick to it and be patient.

Finacea worked wonders for me! I had struggled with rosacea for years, and within a couple of months of using this gel, my skin was much clearer. The irritation was worth it in the end.
