Has anyone had success with Linzess 145mcg Capsules for IBS-C or chronic constipation?
I've been dealing with IBS-C for years and my doctor recently prescribed Linzess 145mcg Capsules. I'm hoping to hear from others who have tried this medication. How effective was it for you? Did you experience any side effects? I'm also curious about how long it took to see improvements. Did it work for your IBS-C? I've read about some serious side effects, so I'm a bit nervous. Any insights or tips would be greatly appreciated! How do I know if I'm taking the correct dosage? How long does it take to start working?

Linzess worked for me too but I had to try a bunch of different things before I figured out what worked best. I wasn't happy with the small doses so I asked my doctor to increase the amount. It helped reduce my bloating and it was a massive improvement from where I was starting.
just had a baby and the doctor wanted to check if the Linzess would pass on to me through breast milk. However, it seems okay from what he told me! Me and my baby are both doing fine.
I read that you could take Linzess with or without food and it works the same? I brought some linzess capsules with me on a recent road trip and forgot to refrigerate them. They got super hot and I was worried it would make a difference but it didn't seem to matter.
I've been taking Linzess for chronic constipation and it's been fantastic. I didn't experience any serious side effects, just some mild stomach discomfort initially. Make sure to take it on an empty stomach in the morning, that's what my doctor advised. It's been a lifesaver for me.
You should hear from your doctor if it can be taken with other medications - it was dangerous for me and I ended up in the hospital. I only had the 72mg pills and I had a really hard time with it.
I've been on Linzess for about 6 months now and it's been a game-changer for my IBS-C. I started with the 72mcg capsules and gradually increased to 145mcg. I noticed a significant reduction in abdominal pain and more regular bowel movements within a couple of weeks. As for side effects, I experienced some mild diarrhea initially, but it subsided after a few days. Overall, the benefits have far outweighed the minor side effects. Just make sure to stay hydrated and listen to your body.
Did you try any natural remedies before Linzess? I know it can be tough to get rid of constipation but have you used a stool softener? Have you tried increasing fiber in your diet first?
