Has anyone had success with Locoid 0.1% Cream 15gm for treating eczema or psoriasis?
I've been prescribed Locoid 0.1% Cream 15gm for my eczema. Has anyone else used this? It contains hydrocortisone butyrate, and I know it works on inflammation, but I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. So… has anyone had success with it? How long until it kicks in? I've been using Locoid for a few weeks now, and it's been a lifesaver. My skin is finally clearing up, and the itching has reduced significantly. Just be careful not to get it in your eyes or mouth.
Did anyone experience severe side effects? I read about potential issues with high blood sugar and weak adrenal glands, and I'm freaking out a bit.
I had a mild reaction at first too, so make sure to use it exactly as prescribed. I recommend wearing gloves when you apply it because that helped me avoid getting it on my hands or in my eyes.
I had to stop using Locoid because it made my skin super dry and flaky. I think I might have an allergy to it, but the doctor said that it's hard to tell without a patch test. I hope it works better for others...

Just a heads up to keep it away from your face and mouth! I accidentally got some in my eye, and it really burned. Always wash your hands afterwards. And check the directions about which parts to apply and how.
