I've been dealing with frequent muscle cramps and occasional constipation. My doctor suggested trying Magnesium 250mg Tablets. I've heard it can help with both issues, but I'm curious about other people's experiences. How long did it take for the Magnesium to start working? Did you have any side effects? I'm especially interested in hearing about any urgent side effects, because I want to be prepared. Also, what dosage did you start with? Any tips on when to take it during the day? Thanks in advance for sharing your stories!

I started taking magnesium and had stomach pain so I stopped. I'm going to try again. My doctor said to try taking it later in the day instead.

Magnesium is great for constipation. I take one a night and have no issues. It's also helped me sleep better.

Magnesium 250mg Tablets worked wonders for me. I started taking one tablet before bed, and my muscle cramps have significantly reduced. I also noticed that my constipation issues improved, but it took about a week to see any results. No major side effects, just a bit of diarrhea in the first few days, but it subsided quickly. Definitely worth giving it a try!

I've been trying different forms of magnesium, and I have found magnesium oxide to be the least effective. I switched to magnesium citrate powder, mixed with juice, and it works much better for me.

I've had no issues with magnesium tablets but my friend did once. She had a serious allergic reaction, hives, swelling and started to wheeze. She ended up in the ER. Just be mindful if you have any other allergies.

Hope your constipation is better. Remember to hydrate! But 250mg is a good starting dosage. Good luck!

I take my magnesium daily but less for constipation than just overall health, it's great for your bones, blood sugar, and nerves. It's a real multi-tasker!

Be careful with the dosage. I increased it to 500mg for a more severe muscle cramps and ended up with severe diarrhea. Stick to the recommended dose until you consult with your doctor.

I started taking magnesium tablets for muscle cramps, and they helped a lot. But I had some weird side effects—like diarrhea and stomach upset. I had to switch to a different form of magnesium, magnesium glycinate, and that seemed to work better for me. It's worth talking to your doctor about trying a different form if you experience side effects.
