Has anyone had success with Mirapex ER 1.5mg Tablets for Parkinson's?

I've been on Mirapex ER for about six months now, and it's made a big difference in my mobility. I had some dizziness at first, but it went away after a few weeks. Just be patient and give it time to work.
I wish I could say the same. I had to stop taking it because of the hallucinations. I couldn't deal with seeing things that weren't there constantly. My doctor switched me to something else.
I really hope this helps. I'm on the fence because of the side effects. My doctor says he can just switch me to something else if this one doesn't work. But, how do I know if it's working?
I didn't have any major side effects, just some trouble sleeping and dizziness. But it's been a lifesaver for my motor symptoms.
I had to talk to my doctor about the intense urges to gamble. It was crazy. I had to stop taking it because I was spending all my money. Be aware of that side effect.
I started noticing some twitching in my muscles and weird dreams. I had to stop because it was freaking me out.
I finally stopped having uncontrollable urges to eat. It's been a life saver. But, I have to say, if this drug didn't help, I'd be in a really bad situation.
Tried it for a month. No improvement at all, just a bunch of side effects. Wished it worked for me, but I had to stop.
I'm on my third week and haven't noticed any changes yet. I'm still hoping for some improvement soon.
